MEDLINE/PubMed and Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science coverage

The Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials has been accepted for indexing both by MEDLINE/PubMed and Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science, less than two years after its launch. As a consequence of Web of Science coverage, we are expecting the journal's first Impact Factor to be announced by July 2010.

"We are very pleased to hear of the acceptance of JMBBM by these major abstracting and indexing services" said Editor-in-Chief David Taylor MRIA CEng, "This is a major endorsement of our mission to publish high-quality, cutting-edge research on biological tissues and biomaterials. We are the only journal devoted exclusively to the study of mechanical behavior in these materials, and greatly appreciate the role played by these organisations in disseminating research results throughout the academic and medical communities"
