(Published in
2011)
Dear {Title} {Surname},
We are pleased to announce that Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation is currently abstracted and indexed by Thomson Scientific ISI Web of Knowledge. The journal will be included in the Science Citation index expanded and Current Contents - Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences.
The first 2010 impact factor, published in summer 2011, will be calculated based on all citations received in 2010 to CNSNS papers published in 2008 and 2009*.

*The Journal Citation Reports® provides quantitative tools for ranking, evaluating, categorizing, and comparing journals. The impact factor is one of these; it is a measure of the frequency with which the "average article" in a journal has been cited in a particular year or period. The annual JCR impact factor is a ratio between citations and recent citable items published. Thus, the impact factor of a journal is calculated by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years.
