Discussion Papers in Statistical Methodology

The journal Statistical Methodology publishes papers that make original contributions to theory and to novel applications. The journal will, in the future, also publish articles judged as 'pathbreaking' and/or of sufficient interest to the statistical community as "Discussion Papers".

"Discussion Papers" are scholarly papers reflecting the many facets of contemporary statistical methodology. The papers for discussion are selected on the basis of their quality, topicality and relevance. The main emphasis is on importance, originality, and broad appeal to statistical readership. The discussion papers should present research at the forefront of statistical methods.

Articles accepted for discussion will be published along with comments from experts.
